Dilip Kumar was the hero of the film and he didn't got even a single solo song in the film. In Prabhat's Aadmi (1939), the first multi lingual songs 'Ab Kis Liye Kal Ki Baat..' was recorded. Ten years later, Sachinda experimented again with a multi lingual song 'Ye Duniya Roop Ki chor..' which was sung by Shamshad Begum. The song was a huge hit, it was not only in Hindi but also in various other languages like Gujrati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali and Tamil. This experimental composition of Dada Burman implanted a standard in that era. 'Kismat Me Bichhadna Tha Huyi Kyun Unse Mohabbat Re..' (Geeta Dutt), 'Mera Dil Tadpa Kar Kahan Chal..'
