Karel van de Graaf boeken als spreker bij Quality Bookings:www.quality-bookings.nl In 1969 trad Karel van de Graaf in dienst bij de AVRO Radio en was al spoedig eindredacteur van `Minjon´, AVRO's toenmalige jeugdomroep. Hij presenteerde onder andere programma´s als `Met Het Oog Op Morgen´, `Een Middagje AVRO´, `Service Station´ en `Van De Graaf Generator´. In 1981 werden al zijn inspanningen bekroond met de Zilveren Reismicrofoon.In 1984 begon hij, met weinig ervaring in het presenteren zijn eigen talkshow `Karel´. In eerste instantie wilde de AVRO al snel stoppen met dit programma, maar in december 1984 schreef Karel van de Graaf geschiedenis met zijn spraakmakende aflevering met de voor- en tegenstanders van Bouterse. Deze uitzending leidde tot een vecht- en schietpartij en de AVRO besloot het programma voort te zetten. Dat spraakmakende fragment was overigens in 54 landen - van Mexico tot Australië - op TV te zien. Door de jaren heen heeft hij in zijn programma ve! le nationale en internationale coryfeeën mogen ontvangen. In oktober 1999 startte hij met de opvolger van de talkshow `Karel´, `De toekomst van Karel de Graaf´. Daarnaast presenteerde hij hij de `Kern van de Zaak´ en `Tien lastige vragen´.Hij voelt zich zeer op zijn gemak in kleine èn grote zalen en staat eigenlijk liever voor een zaal `levende´ mensen dan `live´ voor de camera.
